1A. My e-registration is not working or I did not get an email at all?
- Emails were sent to the address that we have in our system. DON'T PANIC! Simply email customerservice@corrigansports.com and we will attempt to email you your link. If you dont get a reply, we will have computer stations at the expo to allow you to print one.
- If you got an email but your information does not work, DON'T PANIC! Simply email customerservice@corrigansports.com and we will attempt to email you the information we have in the system. If you dont get a reply, we will have computer stations at the expo to allow you to print one.
- In most cases, information is simply mis-typed in our system. It must be an EXACT MATCH to work. You would be surprised how many people register themselves with a work zip code instead of home or a child's birthday instead of their own.
1B. How do I make a change to my registration information?
- The database closed on Oct. 7 at 11:59am so that we may prepare for the sending of the e-regisrtation cards and assign bib numbers. After that time, NO CHANGES can be made to the database. This includes:
- Replacing Relay Team Members
- Adding members to an incomplete relay team
- updating shirt size, email address, and other personal info.
Any changes that need to take place as of this date can be done at the Runner Registration/Trouble table located inside the expo.
1C. Can I register for a race at the expo?
- As of Friday, Oct. 14, we have spots available in the full marathon (150 slots), team relay (20 team slots), kids fun run (75 slots) and half-marathon (50 slots) left.
- Shirt sizes will be limited for these late registrants.
- Do to an error at the Under Armour factory, we have limited 5K spots now open. Shirt sizes for these open 5K slots are limited to womens LG (150 spots) & XL only (150 spots). If you wear these sizes and want to run the 5k, come to the expo on Friday and register.
- You can ONLY register for these spots in person at the expo.
- NO GUARANTEES but if you would like to come to the registration booth at the expo in Hall G, you may get lucky with a race slot.
1D. It is Wed., Thurs., or Fri. of race week and I have a question but no one is answering the phone?
- Our entire staff goes on-site on Wednesday to prepare for the expo and race weekend so no one is in the main office. Answers to most questions can be found in the Runner's Handbook (linked here. It's a big file so be patient while it loads).
- If you can't find the answer in the handbook or website, facebook is the next best resource. We have an awesome community of past participants who are great at answering questions. Or search some old posts to see if your question has already been addressed.
- If none of those locations work, you can email customerservice@corrigansports.com. We will have only limited access to email until the expo gets set up so response may be slow, at off hours or not at all.
- All questions can be answered by a friendly staff person at the expo during expo hours. Once the expo opens on Thursday, this is the best (and sometimes only) way to get a reply to any question.
- Thanks in advance for understanding this situation.

16. Can I wear headphones during the race?
- The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, the Baltimore Running Festival encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the event
We believe your race experience and those around you will be greatly enhanced by leaving the headphones at home or in the car. Running headphone-free allows opportunities to develop camaraderie with your fellow runners and to enjoy everything the race has to offer. Plus, volunteers and spectators will be on course cheering you on and providing directions to help get you to the finish line.
Runner safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority for our event. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone. If wearing an IPod or other audio device results in you being unable to hear verbal instructions or commands; approaching vehicles or course marshals on foot or on bicycles, you may be asked to relinquish the device.
Please note that those competing in the Baltimore Running Festival for awards or prize money may not use such devices and will not be eligible for any award or prize money if such device is worn. USA Track & Field Rule 144.3, states that the visible possession or use by athletes of video, audio, or communications devices in the competition area (which includes IPods, MP3 and other musical devices) is considered assistance and is therefore are prohibited.
17. How do I change my shirt size?
- If you want to change your shirt size, your only option is to do it at our Expo. We will have exchange bins right near the tables where you pick up your race shirts. You will have to sift through the bin(s) to try and find your desired size/race. If you see the one you want, just trade/exchange the shirt you have for the one in the bin.
18. What do I need to know about the Light Rail?
19. Why don't you give out a medal for the 5k?
- As an overview, it has to do with costs. If we were to include the cost of a medal in your 5K registration fee, our registration fee would be rather high compared to other 5K races. Most 5k's do not offer medals, which I'm sure veteran runners can attest to. Most people, especially newbies, have no idea about the total cost of producing and hosting an event of this magnitude. Our costs include police, medical, food, paying for parking, renting out expo, etc. WE 100% DON'T MEAN THIS AS A SIGN OF DISRESPECT. We are sincere when we say we treat EVERY runner equally regardless of the distance they run. Your point about people overcoming health challenges is a prime example. Personally I'm moved every year when I witness blind runners cross the finish line. I'm also blessed with my position to learn a lot of personal stories about people who are in our 5K despite previously gloomy words from a doctor. This is an honest answer. I hope you understand the reasons behind the 5K medal decision. Good luck on raise day. Stick your chest out as proudly as anyone. The achievement and memory should serve as a medal.
