Baltimore Marathon announces the new Wellness & Giving Challenge
Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE), a leader in sports event management and promotion, has partnered with Active Network, the leading online community for active lifestyles, to launch the Wellness and Giving Challenge program for Maryland’s two largest running events, the Baltimore Marathon and the Frederick Marathon.
The Wellness and Giving Challenge is a fundraising and fitness training program which allows corporations to start employee teams that will participate in one of the marathon events while raising funds for a cause they champion. This turnkey program provides employees with all of the tips and tools needed to successfully raise funds online for charity while training for their respective athletic event.
With rising direct health care costs for corporations, there has been a large focus on how the community can combat this epidemic. Corrigan Sports will offer the Wellness and Giving Challenge program as a way to encourage corporate fitness and philanthropy. This will allow them to enhance their offerings to local businesses and non-profits.

- Half-Marathon training starts 7/6/08
- Team Relay training starts 8/3/08
- 5k training starts 8/3/08
