More than $8 million has been raised for charity since the inaugural year of the Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival.  Help us make 2012 a banner fundraising year by pushing us over the $1 Million total!

There are a number of great charity partners already signed up for 2012 with more being added weekly!  Each prgram offers different benefits for their runners but all raise significant funds for very worthy causes in Baltimore and across the nation!

Since its inception more than 4,500 runners have completed the Maryland Double and we invite you to join the club in 2012.  By completing the half-marathon in Frederick and either the full or half at the Baltimore Running Festival in the same calendar year, you can earn a cool third medal and save more than $10 off your entry* fee.  (Register during the early bird time frame and save even more!)  If you would like to join this dedicated group of runners, now is the time to sign up.  Registration for the Maryland Double is available when you register for the Frederick Running Festival.

Runners who complete the half and the full will receive the larger 3.5" medal pictured.  Finish the half-marthon in both events and get a smaller but no less cool medal to add to your collection.  These medals were quite a hit this past year and serve as a worthy carrot to dangle during your training runs.

We have made registering for the Maryland Double easy.  When you go to register for race day in Frederick, you will notice an option for the Maryland Double.  Once you enter this page, you can choose your race combination.  The discount is built into the online price.  PLEASE NOTE:  Using this special online registration category is the only way that you can receive your $10 entry fee savings. 

Not sure you are ready to sign up for the Double quite yet?  No problem.  You can still be part of the Maryland Double if you register for the two events separately, but will waive the right to your discount.  If you choose this route, it is your responsibility to tell us that you are eligible for the award as we do not have the ability to cross reference the two runner databases.  You can do this by emailing customerservice@corrigansports.com .  Registration for Baltimore will open Dec. 13, 2011.  The deadline to be added in this manner is Aug. 1, 2012.

* The $10 discount is built into the price of the fee offered online.  The Frederick half starts at $60.  The Baltimore half starts at $80. The Baltimore full starts at $90.  The Double rate with the Baltimore Marathon is $140.  The Double with the Baltimore Half-Marathon is $130.  By registering for both events at the same time, you will save an additional $4 because you will only pay the service charge once.  Register during the early bird time frame and save an additional $5 off. ($135 & $125 respectively.)  The early bird price is also included in the fee offered online.
