LIVE RACING IS BACK!

In just a few weeks, we will be hosting a live Baltimore Running Festival to celebrate our 20th Anniversary.  We can’t wait to see the streets of Charm City buzzing with excitement and anticipation as we get back to some sense of normalcy.  More than anything though, we can’t wait to see YOU!

As we get closer to race day, we will release our RUNNER HANDBOOK that will include specific details about protocols and procedures.  For now, know that we will follow any local guidelines set forth by the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland to assure that everyone remains safe and healthy.

Some basic information about the upcoming race policies is below.  Be sure to follow our facebook page and website for the latest updates and announcements.  If you have already registered, THANK YOU.  If you have not yet signed up, what are you waiting for? REGISTER TODAY!

MASK POLICY: We will follow local health & safety guidelines for all weekend activities. Currently, this requires all people to wear a mask indoors regardless of vaccination status.  Masks are not required in outdoor areas, however we ask that you consider wearing one in high density areas such as the start line and water refill stations.  Any updates on this policy will be announced as we approach race day.

FRIDAY EXPO: The health and  fitness expo will be held on Friday Oct 8 from 11a to 8p.  There will be no expo hours on Thursday this year.  Runners have the option to have their packet mailed to them for a fee if they cannot attend the expo day.   The deadline to add the mailed packet option is Sept. 15.

CUPLESS RACING: In order to reduce touch points for our volunteers and participants and to keep disposable cups out of the Baltimore community and waterways, we are initiating A CUP FREE POLICY for 2021.  A cup-less race means that there will be no paper water cups between the start and the finish line like you’d typically see at road races. Runners are asked to carry their own refillable bottle while participating. On the course, there will be self-serve refill stations that can also be accessed at several locations along your route.  PLEASE MAKE NOTE as the quantity and locations have changed from previous years.  At the finish line, each runner will get a bottled water and bottled Gatorade.
