KEY POINTS

–arrive early as parking can be challenging in Canton / Patterson Park.
–there will be no port-a-pots on site in the morning for our event.  Plan accordingly.
–obey traffic laws – cars on the road early in the morning are generally people going to work, and tend to be in a rush.
–find a buddy at the start to run with, it’s easier in a group setting to log the long miles.
–enjoy yourself, the Baltimore Running Festival is weeks away – training is always the hardest part.
–Several people have asked if we really start at 7am or is it 7:10-7:15. We start the run at 7AM.
–Bring your old running shoes to recycle / donate as we have a great program to send your gently worn shoes to people of need in Haiti.
–Three water stops along the course.

Please email [email protected] with the distance you plan to run and select “Going” or “Maybe” if you are still unsure, so that you see all the updates.

This is a no-fee, casual group run, which will not be timed or held on a closed road.

We will have cups this year but also please carry your own hydration device. Streets are open to cars, this is not a closed course. We recommend you run on sidewalks when possible. Use caution. Hydrate early & often – don’t forget the sunscreen. Note due to construction at Lake Montebello run around the lake until it is blocked off and U turn and go back. This may cut the run a bit short but you can add extra at the park at the end if needed.
Feel free to add or subtract mileage if you are at a different training distance that weekend.

RSVP to [email protected] with the distance you will be running.

This will ensure that we have enough supplies
Best of luck in your training.
